It is a beautiful perennial that gets unique pink and purple flowers and great green foliage. Most fuchsias are not tolerant of much cold, but these can tolerate sub freezing temperatures and return in spring from the roots. These beautiful plants are hardy to USDA zone 6, and possibly colder, as some sources report even zone 5, and they grow best in full sun to part shade. These will also grow in normal garden soil. They would make excellent additions to your rare plant collection, or just make a unique statement in your yard.
